Pandolfi Price is a winery in the Southern end of Chile called the Itata Valley region. The site known as Santa Ines was originally a 25 hectares of pure Chardonnay plantings since 1992 on volcanic and clay soils. All harvest was sold to other wineries up to 2002 when Enzo Pandolfi Price realized that the fruit was of high quality. He brought in François Massoc, a renowned Chilean winemaker who is regarded for his whites.
The Los Patricios range is the top wines of the estate which was named after Enzo’s grandfather. They acquired additional hectares of land for their Larkün range of Pinot Noir, Syrah, Sauvignon Blanc and Riesling. Larkün is the root mapuche word for Larqui, the name of the river that goes through the vineyards. A winery with extreme potential much like the valley.
