Luis Seabra is a special winemaker and part of the ‘New Portugal’ movement. He spent a decade working with benchmark Douro producer Dirk Niepoort. In 2013, he ventured on his own and created his namesake wine. He is producing revolutionary dry red wines from the dramatic, high-altitude and rugged landscape of Douro Valley. Focusing on native grapes and field blends where he aims for freshness and delicacy with minimal intervention in the cellar. His wines are a pure reflection of ancient old-vines and steep vineyard terraces. These are soil driven, mineral and salivating wines.
