A family domaine founded in 1978 by Roland Lavantureux. His two son’s Arnaud and David have taken over. Arnaud focuses on the vineyard and winemaking while David does the sales and marketing. The brothers strive to make the purest wine or pure representation where the grapes are grown. The domaine uses both stainless-steel tank and the structure of a wood élevage. The wines of Lavantureux have a fleshy core, dynamic acidity, and a saline finish. A producer from Chablis you will hear more and more in the coming years.
