This family run winery produces Tinto del Pais (aka Tempranillo) wines of clarity and focus from their old family vineyards. The high altitude plateau with continental climate was rediscovered by Tomas Esteban and now managed by his sons Juan and Ricardo Esteban. Their vineyards of 60 hectares is located in Roa de Duero the heart of the region. It is operated with the complete absence of pesticides, fertilizers and a natural wine making philosophy. They are a trailblazer of organic farming and biodynamic viticulture and recognized as one of the top producers in Ribera del Duero.
