Second generation winemaker Sebastian Beaumont now runs his old family wine farm Beaumont Family Wines located in the village of Bot River in Western Cape. In this land he farms his Chenin Blanc from 1974 and other varieties within a cool coastal climate. His non-conformist approach and classical style has led him to produce benchmark Chenin Blanc in South Africa and has labeled him as “The Chenin Dude”. Simple winemaking methods with natural yeast, concrete fermenters and old oak to produce nothing but the purity of his old vines.
