La Ferme du Mont is quite new and something to keep an eye one. Owned and managed by superstar winemaker Stéphane Vedeau. His Southern Rhone labels all focus on finesse, elegance, and purity of fruit. He works with organic farming, different harvest times, long macerations, cold ferments, and soft press. He makes wines across from Châteauneuf du Pape, Gigondas, to Côtes du Rhône. Even in warmer climates he manages to produce Burgundy like wines. A magician with the Grenache variety.
