Vincent Paris is a rising star of Northern Rhone. He took an apprenticeship with his uncle and legendary vigneron Robert Michel who retired in 2006. Robert Michel also mentored the King of Cornas Thierry Allemand. Vincent started his Domaine in 1997 with one hectare in Cornas and now has 17 hectares across Northern Rhône. His vineyard management is all done manually with a principle of organic and biodynamic farming. Vincent does a combination of partial, destemming, and whole cluster ferment with no new wood touching his Syrahs. Paris crafts three Cornas wines, Saint-Joseph and Crozes-Hermitage wines. La Geynale is his top wine which is a 100-year-old vine Syrah which is located at the bottom of the famed lieu-dit Reynard.
